Patient Master Index

This system compiles patientsâ€™ biographical data and makes it available for patientsâ€™ care providers. The Patientâ€™s data is first entered into the system as part of the pre-admission or admission or registration operations. During the patientâ€™s visit, data such as the patientâ€™s location, diagnosis and financial information can be added or updated. After the patient is discharged,his information is retained in the database for any future encounter with the facility.

Admission, Discharge and Transfer (ADT)

Normal admission: It is used to admit patients to the hospital, it is preceded by the Pre admission function (biographical data); through this function the user can specify an attending doctor, patientâ€™s accommodation, nursing station, room, bed and referring doctor. Discharge: It is used to discharge an inpatient either from a second facility or from the hospital. Reason of discharge must be specified in this function. Finally, a final diagnosis can be added and the final bill can be generated during the discharge process.

Outpatient & Appointment

This module supports automation of handling outpatient transactions. It is used to control the booking of appointments for different resources.

Outpatient Yard Scheduling System

It is considered as a tool to control patient flow in order to optimize clinicâ€™s operations.
Since patient throughput can be greatly affected by altering scheduling rule,
appointment scheduling module will help to minimize waiting times.
This module is also able to reschedule previously assigned or not assigned appointments. .

Emergency Department

HMIS-Emergency deals with emergency patients. Any emergency patient can be admitted,
through this system by allocating a temporary medical number to collect the minimum available data.

Order Management

It is responsible for controlling the patientâ€™s orders flow between hospitalsâ€™ different departments.

Doctorâ€™s Fees

There are two methods to calculate the Doctorâ€™s Fees:

Doctorâ€™s Total Case:
The doctor will receive his due net fees against services offered without participation from any other doctor.
Doctorâ€™s Flat Case:
There are two cases Main Doctor: All Services offered by the doctor or any other services submitted by another main doctor linked to him within the same POOL shall be collected and redistributed among them and among other doctors subscribed in the POOL according to the agreed upon percentages.
