IDMS COSTING

IDMS Costing supports defining multiple cost buckets to distribute the cost in and relating these buckets to a work center, as well as defining the labor and machine costs. Also it gives a wide number of reports and statistics that illustrate the cost changes and generates a comparison with standard cost.

FUNCTIONALITY

Cost Buckets Definition
Used to define the bucket, description, cost type and purpose.
Labor Definition
Used to define labor rate per hour if personal system is not loaded.
Work center Definition
used to define work center rate per hour.
Overhead Cost
is used to enter period overhead expenses, which will be distributed to various shop orders and various work centers.
Overhead Allocation
distributes actual overhead for a period and work center to shop order.

Load Standards
From BOM & Routings to generate material, labor and overhead costs for all manufactured items by Shop Order Release function or by Cost Rollup function.
Calculate actual Shop Order cost
from shop order issue material function and shop order reporting function.
Shop Order close function
accumulates the total actual cost including overhead cost.
IDMS Costing reports and statistics
display the shop order cost and illustrate the cost changes and comparison with standard cost.
