Polyclinic includes the medical record number, name, birth date, and national security number, telephone number and ID number. It could also be integrated with the fingerprint identifier and/or the smart card.

A Graphical User Interface

Polyclinic is easy to modify. It takes advantage of the prevailing technology in graphical interface and click paradigm, allowing the user to easily navigate the system and retrieve information.

Ease of use

Ease of use is reflected on the bilingual help screens, menu building facility and on-line data browser on all input fields referred to in the tables and master files. A search index is also available.

Polyclinic is equipped with an interface layer compatible with medical equipment. This will eliminate human errors, enhance control and minimize delays.

Role Base security

Access could be granted, denied or partially granted, according to the authorization given to the user. Not all users are authorized to access all the modules.

Registration

This module compiles data and makes it available for personnel providing patientsâ€™ care.

Admission, Discharge and Transfer (ADT)

This module discusses how to admit a patient to the hospital and the different administrative procedures through which the patient passes.

Appointment

This module supports automation of handling outpatient transactions. It is used to control the booking of appointments for different resources.

Pharmacy

This module consists of module installation, tables set up, drug data base setup,drug ordering,
drug dispensing, drug stocks, control drug medication and statistical reports generation.

Medical Record

This module is the backbone of Polyclinic system. All the medical activities
related to the patient are reflected automatically and on-line into the medical
record files, which are built smoothly from day to day operations.

Patients' Accounting

This module provides the user with a comprehensive methodology for processing
the different financial data of the patients whether inpatients or outpatients.

Order Management

This module consists of Order Entry, Order Processing, Progress Recording, and Result Reporting.

Laboratory

This module helps manage the administrative and operative functions in hospital laboratories.

Radiology

This module helps managing the administrative and operational functions regarding radiology.

Administration

This module handles different transactions and process such as setting up user's profile,
modules, programs menu, work station, mandatory fields, posting user copy.
